"What happens when we’re stressed is we end up with a stressed gut. And guess what? All those amazing neurotransmitters that make us feel good, like GABA, serotonin, and dopamine, are produced in the gut. 90 percent of our serotonin is produced in the gut. Our gut is sending messages to our brain more than our brain is sending messages to our gut."

A Bit About Dimple: 

Dimple Arora is the founder of Mindful Evolution (ME) and the co-host of the I AM MOM Parenting Podcast — each being a parenting movement empowering parents to create a family environment where everyone can thrive.

Dimple is an expert in women and teen girl empowerment, specializing in helping individuals reduce the debilitating effects of stress, anxiety and childhood trauma. Dimple’s practical approach to mental health focuses on regulating the nervous system, reducing inflammation and optimizing the brain, heart and gut connections using mindfulness, nutrition, EFT tapping and a variety of mind body techniques. Dimple is a certified educator and life coach, holistic nutritionist and EFT/NLP practitioner, trained in mental health first aid, with a background in public education.

As a previous high school math teacher and the creator of GLOW, a peer support and teen empowerment membership program, Dimple has a passion for working with teen girls one on one and in a group setting teaching them how to optimize their mental, emotional and physical health.

Dimple expanded into this work after she successfully recovered from fibromyalgia, two hip surgeries, traumatic brain injuries and childhood trauma.

Dimple is speaker and co-author in the best-selling international women’s empowerment book, Simply Woman: Stories from 30 Magnificent Women Who Have Risen Against the Odds. She also holds degrees in mathematics, business, and education and was previously employed in the corporate world and public education. Dimple’s work is all encompassing in her lifestyle.
